Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is best known as the star of Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he can perform comedy and dramatic parts. He has also portrayed some romantic characters as well as was in a variety of action-packed films during his professional career. The passion for acting profession began when he was when he was in his teen years. He attempted stand-up comedy in his early 20s. It wasn't a success, however it helped pave the way to the path to a career in acting. Inability to make it as a comic, he took the job of a television cameraman in a cable channel. While working at the station, it was when he came to the realization that he actually wanted to be on camera. After that, he was offered a TV role, appearing in several episodes in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. So it was not a surprise he quickly became a popular TV actor. When he began his film career, he had high aspirations and became well-known for his comical characters. The Tim Burton film Batman, he played the role of Batman's superhero as the title. As time passed his acting ability developed and he was able exploring the possibility of directing and production. His performance in the 2014 film Birdman was nominated for numerous nominations and awards.
