Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director who is famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. A versatile actor, he is able to perform both dramatic and comedic roles. He's also played a few romantic characters and played in numerous action films during his professional career. While still in his teens, he began to develop an interest in both acting and performing. Later, as an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up humor. While his stand-up comedy was not successful it helped to open the way for his acting. Since he wasn't able to become the actor of his dreams, he chose to work as a TV cameraman. As he was doing the work he started to realize that he really desired to appear present on camera. After that, he was offered a TV role, appearing in a number of seasons on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The actor had natural talent and quickly became a household name in the world of television. In his early film careers his aspirations were high and gained acclaim for his comic roles. For Tim Burton's Batman in the film, he portrayed the role of Batman's superhero name. In his later years, as a mature actor he also began to venture into directing and producing. His performance in 2014 as Birdman was rewarded with numerous nominations and awards.
